Panos Andoniades - Grupotec UK
Hi my name is Panayiotis Andoniades and during my work time in Grupotec, I developed a good background in construction industry and electrical works related to solar farms. Furthermore, I established experience in construction management in building and civil works while I was in control and monitoring of the work quality, costs and deadlines of projects then count more than 50MW. My main responsibilities include document control of solar projects from initiation to completion, cooperation with contractors for document and financial queries, control of Due Diligence (DD) and PAC documents, classification and migration of documents, archiving, uploading/downloading documents into SharePoint. Moreover I was involved with AutoCAD drawings and schematics, electrical calculations and estimations according to British Standards. Last but not least, I was doing a lot of site visits for research purposes and meetings with subcontractors and suppliers to discuss contracts and orders.

Hi, my name is Andrew Twigg and while in my placment I was given the following responsibilities:
Business Area Manager for Innovation Development Team & Emerging Technology Services
Within this position I submitted 2 patents which have now been filed in IBM, while also working alongside a master inventor we collaborated together in producing new inventions. Other experiences in this role where:

Establishing the business value of technical patents to IBM submitted from its employees.

Meeting with senior management and staff to discuss patent validity, or any queries an evaluator may have.

Collaborating with inventors of new technology, and providing a comprehensive technical report to senior management explaining inventions application and complexity.

Management over numerous staff members, and multiple long term projects.

Producing a new innovative way to increase patent submission rate within IBM Hursley, and presenting this to IBM Hursley site manager and other department managers.
Global Systems Administrator
While in this role I volunteered as a teaching manager over a group of staff in which I won the “IBM Managers Choice Award” for my management of a team, lesson planning and the teaching of IT in the local school to its students. Other experiences in this role are as stated below:

Administration over a multi-platform, medium sized virtual server farm consisting of 600 systems.

Management of a diverse hardware infrastructure, alongside the construction and modification of servers and blade centers.
Long term liaison with a global client network, communicating with customers the technical details of their systems.
