Samsung and Fox have teamed up to produce one of the first and best blue ray players in the world as it features H.265 / HEVC codec alongside a 10-bit color support, 4K movie playback and USB2.
In terms of resolution this level is still very new to the TV market as not many TVs support 4K resolutions and those that do come with a hefty price tag. To further illustrate the color range that this is capable off a picture is used below:
To understand these pictures the better the one on the left illustrates that of a 1080p color map, where all of the colours within the triangle are those that the encoder within the player can utilize, however the picture on the right shows how many colours a 4K can now use.
